While living in Australia, he was approached by many NRIs who were facing legal issues in India but found it difficult to manage those matters from overseas. These experiences became the foundation of IndoPacta Legal, a firm created to support NRIs, overseas Indians, families, and businesses dealing with Indian and international legal matters across borders.
In 2023, Chintan moved to Australia to pursue postgraduate studies at Macquarie University, Sydney, where he completed a Master of International Trade and Commerce Law and a Master of International Relations in 2025.
After graduating, he was admitted with the Bar Council of Gujarat on a provisional practice certificate. He later cleared the All India Bar Examination and became a member of the Bar Council of India, with his provisional certificate converted into a permanent practice certificate.
Chintan began his formal legal education in 2016 and completed his B.B.A. LL.B. (Integrated) degree from Gujarat University in 2022. During his legal education, he gained practical exposure through internships with lawyers, courts, and organisations, developing a strong understanding of Indian legal practice, client needs, and procedural realities.
IndoPacta Legal was founded by Chintan D. Joshi, an Indian lawyer based in Sydney, Australia. His legal journey began in Gujarat, India, in a family deeply connected with the legal profession. With his father, uncle, and elder brother all having strong legal backgrounds, the law became more than a profession, it became a part of his foundation.
